Requirements for 2024 Grads:
- Must be graduating Fall 2023, Winter 2024, or Spring 2024, Summer 2024 [Please have a copy of your UCI Intent to Graduate form ready for verification if NG requests it]
- Fill out the NG Application (NG APP) *Application and the waitlist application are now CLOSED*
- Required to participate in Loteria card fundraiser* AND participate in 1 on/off campus fundraiser*
- Send professional headshot or attend PHOTO SESSION that will be added to our program [April 19 or April 12]
- Pay the Application Fee by Fri March 1, 2024 (which includes guest tickets, sash, grad package): $120

- Committee understands the financial hardship this price can have. One of our priorities will be to work diligently to reach out to sponsors and campus partners to lower the price. Any updates will be announced via social media. However this is not guaranteed.
Please note that NG is a student run organization and funds are gathered through fees, fundraisers, and sponsorships to cover your stole, senior gift, guest tickets, and any other costs of the ceremony which include: Food, Music, Entertainment, Photography/Video, etc.

Perks and Benefits of being a Nuestra Grad Participant
The ceremony is bilingual, as it is translated in English and Spanish. Additionally, graduates are traditionally given the opportunity to say a few words to thank those who have helped them towards this accomplishment. As of last year, we are excited to announce the installation of a new feature to the graduation, the opportunity for a graduate to walk with two guests of their choice.
All students will receive:
Graduation Sash, Tickets for graduation, Senior Gift, , and more!
*Note: Nuestra Grad doesn't provide cap and gown, students must purchase on their own.
Overall, Nuestra Graduación aspires to be a celebration that highlights the achievement in higher education of the Latinx community at UCI. It strives to amplify student voices and create a space that celebrates diversity, Latinx accomplishment, and serves to empower students.
